Replace an Old Furnace or Boiler or ChangeYour Heating System from Oil or Propane to Natural Gas
If your old forced air furnace or heating-oil boiler is on its last legs, now is the time to explore your options. A lot has changed in home heating technology in the 10 years since you bought your last furnace (or 30 years, if you have an old boiler). You may be surprised to find that newer heating technologies can:
- Reduce your monthly heating bill (one of our customers saw his heating bill drop from $6,000 to less than $1,000 when he converted from heating oil to natural gas)
- Provide more efficient heating to each room of your house
- Require less space for equipment
- Reduce your home's carbon footprint
New boilers can still last upwards of 30 years, so if you are replacing a boiler, it pays to choose the most energy efficient unit you can find. The most efficient boilers have an AFUE rating of 85 percent or higher.

Converting From Heating Oil to Natural Gas
Rather than replace your heating-oil boiler, we can convertit to natural gas if your existing equipment is in serviceable condition. As a plumbing company with master pipefitters on staff, we can run properly sized gas pipes into your home. We'll clean the boiler, install a gas burner, and a barometric damper in the flue pipe, and then hook up the required electrical and gas connections.
